Oak Forest extended pet sitting in your home.
Some pets don't need a sitter sleeping in their bed, but they do need real company at the bookends of the day. Almost Overnights are extended late-evening and early-morning visits in your Oak Forest home. Your sitter walks wide quiet streets, generous front yards, and a neighborhood that still waves at the dog walker, settles your pet for the night, and is back in the morning before the day starts. We work the shady side of West 43rd, loop through TC Jester Park, and know exactly where the squirrels live (your dog already does).

In Oak Forest
TC Jester Park is a few minutes from most Oak Forest homes, which makes our early morning visit genuinely useful for active dogs. We can build the morning visit around a park loop for dogs who need more than a neighborhood circuit. Evening visits in Oak Forest are usually quieter — we settle dogs in after the evening walk and leave them in a calm state before bed.

Oak Forest · Frequently asked
What Oak Forest pet owners ask about Almost Overnights.
Do you offer Almost Overnights throughout Oak Forest?
Yes — Oak Forest is one of our core neighborhoods. Almost Overnights are available here and include a late-evening visit and an early-morning visit at your home in Oak Forest. We've been providing in-home pet care in this area since 2010.
What exactly is an Almost Overnight?
An Almost Overnight is two extended in-home visits per day: one late in the evening to walk, feed, and settle your pet for the night, and one early in the morning to walk, feed, and get them started for the day. Your pet sleeps at home — we don't stay overnight, but we cover both ends of the day so your dog is never alone for too long.
What time do you come in the evening and morning?
Evening visits are typically in the 9–10 pm range. Morning visits are usually 6–7 am. Exact timing is confirmed at the meet & greet based on your dog's routine and your schedule. We're flexible, and we plan around your pet's needs.
Is this the right service for an anxious or senior dog?
It depends on the dog. For an anxious dog that just needs company at the bookends of the day, Almost Overnights can be ideal — same sitter, familiar routine, home environment. For a dog who can't be alone at all overnight, a full Staycation (overnight stay) is usually a better fit. We'll help you decide at the meet & greet.
Can the morning visit include TC Jester Park for my high-energy dog?
Yes — for Oak Forest dogs who are used to TC Jester, we keep it in the morning visit. The park is close enough to make it a consistent stop without shortening the rest of the visit. We confirm the exact morning route at the meet & greet based on your dog's pace and energy needs.
