Garden Oaks extended pet sitting in your home.
Some pets don't need a sitter sleeping in their bed, but they do need real company at the bookends of the day. Almost Overnights are extended late-evening and early-morning visits in your Garden Oaks home. Your sitter walks 1940s ranch homes, mature live oaks, and the easy pace of a true neighborhood, settles your pet for the night, and is back in the morning before the day starts. We walk the deep-shaded blocks off North Shepherd, swing through Garden Oaks Park, and know which windows belong to the dogs who love a peek through the curtains to say hey.

Garden Oaks · Frequently asked
What Garden Oaks pet owners ask about Almost Overnights.
Do you offer Almost Overnights throughout Garden Oaks?
Yes — Garden Oaks is one of our core neighborhoods. Almost Overnights are available here and include a late-evening visit and an early-morning visit at your home in Garden Oaks. We've been providing in-home pet care in this area since 2010.
What exactly is an Almost Overnight?
An Almost Overnight is two extended in-home visits per day: one late in the evening to walk, feed, and settle your pet for the night, and one early in the morning to walk, feed, and get them started for the day. Your pet sleeps at home — we don't stay overnight, but we cover both ends of the day so your dog is never alone for too long.
What time do you come in the evening and morning?
Evening visits are typically in the 9–10 pm range. Morning visits are usually 6–7 am. Exact timing is confirmed at the meet & greet based on your dog's routine and your schedule. We're flexible, and we plan around your pet's needs.
Is this the right service for an anxious or senior dog?
It depends on the dog. For an anxious dog that just needs company at the bookends of the day, Almost Overnights can be ideal — same sitter, familiar routine, home environment. For a dog who can't be alone at all overnight, a full Staycation (overnight stay) is usually a better fit. We'll help you decide at the meet & greet.
Does the morning visit include a real park loop, or just a quick potty run?
A real park loop for dogs who need it. Garden Oaks mornings are genuinely good for walking — deep tree cover, low traffic, and the park close enough to build into the visit. Our morning visits are one hour, and for dogs who are used to a park circuit we treat it as part of the visit, not an optional extra.
