Greater Heights pet sitting in your home, in your neighborhood.
When you travel, your pets stay home in Greater Heights — in their own space, on their own schedule. Dogs get their morning walks through tree-lined Victorian streets, bungalow porches, and the Heights Hike-and-Bike Trail. Cats get litter-box care, fresh food, medication, and company on their own terms. We know the shaded loops along Heights Boulevard, the quiet side streets near Donovan Park, and which sidewalks heat up fastest in August.

In Greater Heights
Heights homes vary more than most neighborhoods — bungalows with real yards, third-floor townhomes with three flights of stairs, and everything in between. We scope the home during the meet & greet and build the routine around what your dog's environment actually allows. For Heights dogs with yard access, morning and evening outdoor time is built into every visit. For high-rise or townhome dogs, we plan walks on the Heights Hike-and-Bike or the side streets to make up for it.

Greater Heights · Frequently asked
What Greater Heights pet owners ask about in-home sitting.
Do you provide in-home pet sitting throughout Greater Heights?
Yes — Greater Heights is one of our core service areas. We've been doing in-home overnight stays in this neighborhood since 2010. Your sitter comes to your home in Greater Heights, follows your dog's exact routine, and stays the night so your pet never has to leave.
Will my dog actually stay in my home the whole time?
Yes, always. We do not board dogs at another location or take them to a sitter's home. Your dog sleeps in their own bed, eats on their own schedule, and gets their morning and evening walks from the same familiar sitter the whole time you're away.
Can you handle medications or a senior dog?
Absolutely. We're comfortable with oral medications, eye drops, insulin, and specialty diets. We're also experienced with senior dogs who need slower walks, more frequent potty breaks, and extra patience. Just tell us the details at the meet & greet and we'll build the care plan around your dog.
How do I get started?
Send us a note through the contact form, call 832-868-8430, or email contact@shaggychicpetservices.com. We'll schedule a free meet & greet in your home — your sitter comes to you, meets your dog, and walks through your routine before any booking is confirmed.
Our home is a three-story townhome — does that affect overnight sits?
Not at all, but it's exactly the kind of thing we scope at the meet & greet. Townhome dogs don't have yard access, so we build the routine around more frequent walks on the Heights Hike-and-Bike or the surrounding streets. We've managed Heights townhomes, bungalows, and everything in between — the home layout shapes the routine, it doesn't limit it.
